The face of the button depicts the face of Gordon Cooper and the date May 15-16, 1963 and the ribbon reads ‘ASTRONAUT Gordon Cooper WELCOME BACK TO EARTH IN FAITH 7 - 22 ORBITS AROUND THE WORLD MAY 15, 1963.
