This is a minty World War I United States Shipping Board-Emergency Fleet Corporation / American International Shipbuilding Corporation war worker badge from the Hog Island (Philadelphia), Pennsylvania Shipyard. The badge is by Philadelphia Badge Company and comes on its original card.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War I.
SIZE:
Badge: approximately 7/8” in diameter; card: about 1-15/16” square.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Gold-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Single screw post with sleeved disc backing, stabilization post.
MARKINGS:
