Nice, late 1930’s Indian Motorcycle lapel pin. The detailed motorcycle shaped pin is die-struck gilt brass with black painted details. The first Indian Motorcycle was made available to the public in 1902. Indian released the first V-Twin, still a popular cruiser-motorcycle engine design today more than 100 years later. In 1908 the New York City Police selected Indian motorcycles for use by its motorcycle police.
