This is a Japanese-made pocket patch for the United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The patch is roughly diamond-shaped and shows a winged eagle, globe and anchor with the Roman numeral I.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1960s.
SIZE:
2-5/8” height and 3-3/4” width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Red fully-embroidered patch in black and gold silk/cotton/polyester threads.
