This is a World War I United States Navy sweetheart brooch fashioned from a Chief Petty Officer’s belt buckle during the World War I period. The brooch is oval and shows the letters USN set upon an anchor.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War I.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with C catch.
