ARTIFACT:
Fantastic period 1880's large cabinet photo of the Colonel Sise No. 2 Steam Fire Engine of Portsmouth, New Hampshire in great period frame. The photo shows the engine and two horses parked in front of the fire house. The sign above the garage doors reads: "ORGANIZED 1802 2 COLONEL SISE 2" and the steeple of the South Church on State St. can be seen in the background. The period frame shows a nice, wide frame.
