ARTIFACT: This is a 1920s advertising first aid tin for the American Telephone and Telegraph Company, or AT&T, which was founded in 1885. The company had been around for a decade previously before it assumed its now famous name as a venture under the guidance of three men, including the telephone's inventor, Alexander Graham Bell. The tin in bright green with an old AT&T logo on its cover, and includes compresses (only one package is opened), as well as tubes of iodine, petrolatum and ammonia.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 3-5/8" in width and 1-1/4" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted tin, brass. Paper and gauze, etc.

ATTACHMENT: Hinge and locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The tin has some moderate abrasions and small spots of wear and the contents are mostly in very good shape.
