This is a nice example of a 1920s-1930s New York City Newspaper Reporters/Fire Lines badge for a reporter from the New York American.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:
2-3/4” wide by 2-3/4” high.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Chrome-plated nickel.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with tongue-type "C" catch.

8- (Excellent - Very fine): Minor wear; slight tarnishing on reverse. Badge looks to have possibly been refurbished in the 1930's where something was buffed out of the badge under the word 'OFFICIAL' and the badge re/chrome plated at that time.
