This is a nice example of a 1920s-1930s New York City Newspaper Reporters/Fire Lines badge for a reporter from the New York American.
2-3/4” wide by 2-3/4” high.
Vertical pin with tongue-type "C" catch.
J.S. Packard. New York.
This is from a large collection, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX07 LAGEX
8- (Excellent - Very fine): Minor wear; slight tarnishing on reverse. Badge looks to have possibly been refurbished in the 1930's where something was buffed out of the badge under the word 'OFFICIAL' and the badge re/chrome plated at that time.
As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
