This is a paperback first edition copy of "Gas", Weapons Book Number 43 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by Ian V. Hogg, this volume deals with the effectiveness and use of gas as a chemical warfare agent in the first World War and beyond. It has several black and white photographs and was published in 1975.
