SUBJECT:
This is a pre-Columbian terracotta figure from Central America. The figure is a woman with very large eyes, earrings and either a headdress or an elaborate hairdo. The figure has a beautiful all-over reddish hue and has had a repair made at the neck.
VINTAGE:
Circa before 1492.
SIZE:
Approximately 7” in height and 3-1/16” in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Terracotta clay.
