ARTIFACT:
This is a cool circa late 1960s United Air Lines vinyl travel bag promoting the airline's travel route to Hawaii. The background of the bag is in a red and black tapa cloth design. The bottom of the bag has fields in which to write the bag owner's name and address.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1960s.
SIZE:
Approximately 11-1/2" in height (including handle) and 6-1/2" in width and about 14-1/2" in length.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Vinyl.
ATTACHMENT:
Zipper, handles, metal feet.
MARKINGS:
AIRTEX on zipper; MFG. BY AIRLINE TEXTILE MFG. CO. DES MOINES, IOWA, USA under exclusive license from owner of trademark and/or name which appears hereon. Style No. 900 on bottom.
