ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army Air Forces 13th Fighter Squadron, 53rd Fighter Group, 3rd Air Force jacket patch. The 13th was active under the 53rd Fighter Group from 1941-1944. The patch features the head of an angry bull at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 5" wide by 5" high.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidery on wool.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a garment.

MARKINGS: None.
