This is a late World War I United States Air Service enameled lapel cockade. The cockade has a five-pointed star with a red dot at center.
VINTAGE:
Circa late World War I.

1/2” diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Gold-plated brass with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
