ARTIFACT: This is a third edition (September 15, 1942) "Operators Manual for Allison Engine Installations" by the Allison Division of General Motors Corporation of Indianapolis, Indiana. The Allison engine was used in both USAAF and USN aircraft: it was a part of the P-38 Lightning, the P-40 Warhawk and the P-39 Airacobra, among others. The book has some graphs and black and white illustrations to accompany the text.

VINTAGE: Published September 15, 1942 (World War II).

SIZE: 129 pages; approximately 6"e; in height and 4-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Vinyl cover, paper, metal binding comb.
