ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1906 advertising mug made in Mettlach, Germany for Hires Root Beer. The mug is by Villeroy & Boch and has their famous abbey mark on its bottom, along with a date mark. A rosy-cheeked child is on the front beneath the slogan "Drink Hires Rootbeer".

Circa 1906.
SIZE:
Approximately 4-3/16"e; in height and 3-1/4" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Stoneware.
