This is a great circa 1910 bottle opener and tag from Andrew O. Caswell, Bottler of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The opener, which is in the shape of a nude woman or perhaps mermaid, is connected by a chain to an oval tag with the bottling company’s information.
Approximately 5-1/4” length and 1-7/16” width.
Chain and two holes on each piece.
G. T. & O. CO. PAT’D CHICAGO on opener.
This is from a breweriana collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX10 VAAEX1/11
7 (Very Fine): The bottle opener and tag both show light to medium wear and small spots of tarnishing and rust.
As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
