This is a pre-1900 advertising corkscrew from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The handle reads COMPLIMENTS OF WILLIAM (?) SULLIVAN DEALER IN ALES, WINES AND LIQUORS ACQUISITOR… PORTSMOUTH BREWING CO.
VINTAGE:
Circa pre-1900.
SIZE:
Approximately 4-3/8” length and 3-9/16” width and 3/4” thickness.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Wood and iron.

Very hard-to-read patent number on reverse from possibly August or October of 1895(?).
