SUBJECT:
This is a fabulous old Cuban Bebida rum noisemaker from the Monomack Inn in Merrimac, Massachusetts. Shaped like a bottle of rum, the noisemaker is used by shaking it to allow small wooden spheres on either side to slap against it.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1900s.
SIZE:
6-1/16” height and 1-7/16” width and about 3-1/2” between spheres at rest.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Printed paper on wood with metal.
