ARTIFACT: This is beautiful bronze 1909 Sprint Canoe Club Medal issued by the Grand Trunk Boating Club of Montreal, Quebec. The medal is for second prize in the Junior Tandem. The floral medal itself, has a tandem canoe in the center. There is some good detail, considering the size of the scene.

VINTAGE: Circa 1909

SIZE: Approximately 5-1/2" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze and silk

ATTACHMENT: Chain link and horizontal pin with over-under catch.

MARKINGS: "JUNIOR TANDEM. 2ND PRIZE G.T.B.C. 1909."

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The silk ribbon is wonderful! There is little wear on the medal, making for a beautiful piece.
