ARTIFACT: This is a Rare General Star for the US Marine Corps from the 1950's. This Rhodium plated sterling silver five-pointed star insignia is made by Meyer. On the reverse, there is both the Meyer Shield maker's mark as well as the US Marine Corps shield.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Rhodium plated Sterling Silver

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with over-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "USMC. STERLING."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USMC Insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJX16 LHEX03/17 SHEX9/18

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The star is in great shape, with light wear including some scratches on the obverse.
