ARTIFACT: This is a mid-19th Century thermometer from Peterboro, New Hampshire. This was around the time when mercury was still used in thermometers. The thermometer seems to be fairly accurate, with temperature threshold marks.

VINTAGE: Mid 19th Century

SIZE: About 13-1/4" x 1-3/8" x 7/8

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, brass, glass, mercury
