ARTIFACT: This is an early 1950's Nash Ambassador (Automobile) automatic transmission enameled logo plate. This was removed from the column shifter. Nash Motors, founded in 1916 and based in Wisconsin, pioneered a few innovations that are used to this very day including heating and ventilation, unibody, construction, and seat belts. This was made before 1954, as during that year, Nash became the now defunct American Motors Company (AMC).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Appr: 11/16" x 2-3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Automobile collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX17 LFJX7/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine +): There is a chip in the red enamel near the end on the left side. Otherwise this plate is in wonderful condition.
