ARTIFACT: This is a very rare pair of United States Army Coast Artillery Officer collar insignia in heavy die-struck gilt bronze with enamel. They show crossed cannon with an artillery shell at the red enameled center. These are in the sew-on type with four small loops on the reverse of each insignia.

VINTAGE: Circa 1902.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height by 1-7/16" in width (each).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Heavy die-struck gilt bronze with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Loops for sewing insignia on.

MARKINGS: 4 stamped on reverse of each.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early United States Army officer collar insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX14 LAGEX4/14 SAEJX6/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia have some light wear only.
