ARTIFACT:
This is a 1962 Zippo lighter for the United States Army Security Agency (ASA) TUSLOG Detachment 4. TUSLOG stands for The US LOgistics Group. The detachment was stationed at Sinop, Turkey, The front of the lighter bears the mottos Silere Defensus.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1962.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-1/2" width and _" in thickness.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Chrome-plated brass, painted details, nickel insert.
ATTACHMENT:
Hinge.
