ARTIFACT: This is an early (circa 1945-1946) United States Army 82nd Airborne Division Association member lapel pin. The Association was formed during World War II in England prior to the June 6, 1944 invasion of Normandy. The pin is in red and blue painted brass and has a Chicago maker mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945-1946.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: J.O. Pollack Co. Chicago.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a post-WWII United States Army association insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MJX14 LFEX6/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has little wear.
