ARTIFACT: Circa 1923 Scabbard & Blade Society Member Badge named to Hubert Smith Co. A, 2nd Regiment. The pin is an eagle with two crossed sabers and the letters V λ (lambda) on his breast and is made of 14K gold and pearls. Scabbard and Blade is a college military society founded in 1904 at the University of Wisconsin, and membership is also open to all students entering the United States Armed Forces (ROTC/JRROTC).

VINTAGE: Circa 1923.

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in height and 5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 14 karat gold (tested), enamel, pearls.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: Hubert C. Smith 1923 Co. A. 2nd Regt." engraved upon reverse.
