ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950s United States Customs inspector hat badge. It is numbered on reverse. The design is an eagle over a blue banner with some blue sunburst rays behind him.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height x 2-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization posts.

MARKINGS: 8409

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRFCX13 LBGEX4/13 SLBFEX7/14 SBJJX06/14/21

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has a small piece of enamel missing from the banner and crest, along with a few other very small dings; some small areas of discoloration on reverse.
