ARTIFACT:
Spanish Cross of Aeronautical Merit, 1st Class cross in white, years of issue 1975-1981. Medal is a Greek cross on swivel royal crown suspension and the obverse shows red, white and blue enamel. The Cross was instituted in 1949 to reward contributions to Spanish aviation, this medal is circa 1975 with double-sided enamel.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Chromed brass and enamel.

Horizontal pin with "C" clasp.
