ARTIFACT: 1970's Order of the Patriotic War, 1st Class, Type 3. The award was given to all ranks of the Soviet Union's Army, Navy, and Air Force. The badge shows a red star with a sword and bayonet in the background and a hammer and sickle at center. The reverse is numbered: "2627014"

VINTAGE: Circa 1970's

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" x 1-7/8

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with large disc backing.

MARKINGS: Russian maker's mark, "2627014" hand engraved.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Russian and Soviet Union militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX15 LFJX12/15 SFJX12/15

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor surface wear, nearly all the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
