ARTIFACT: This is a World War II "Victory" (Vincere) tinnie or patriotic pin for the Italian Fascist Youth. The group began in 1926 as the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) and was renamed GIL (Giuventu Italiana del Littorio) in 1937. The pin shows a red, white and green cockade with a horizontal sword at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" tall and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: ZELINDA GAGGI VIA XX SETTEMBRE 115 ROMA.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The pin has some spots of light to medium wear.
