ARTIFACT: This is a cool 19th century lock and keys made by the Taureg people of North Africa. It has wonderful decorative motifs on the front and back panels. There are three separate keys that fit with its mechanism. This great set is made of brass, nickel, copper and steel.

VINTAGE: Circa 19th century.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" by 2-1/4"; longest of 3 separate parts: 3-1/8" by 7/16".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, steel and copper or copper-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Twine cord; loops.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The lock has some tarnishing and some small spots of oxidation.
