ARTIFACT: This is a World War II squadron patch made for the United States 9th Air Force's 585th Bomber Squadron, 394th Bomber Group D-Day unit which flew both B-26 and A-26 aircraft. The patch shows a winged wolf in uniform carrying a bomb over a cloud.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: 5-1/4 " height and 5-3/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk-screened canvas.
