ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful Indian-made patch-type distinctive insignia (DI) for the United States Army Air Forces 10th Air Force. The DI is in enameled silver and is on its original manufacturer's card: unheard of!

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in diameter; card: 3-1/2" by 2-1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled silver; card stock.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical British kick (Y) pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: Manufactured by:- MOJUMDER MUKHERJEE & CO. 14, HARE STREET, CALCUTTA. on card.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX LAGEX12/12 SABEX3/17

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The insignia shows light wear and tarnish only; card is in great shape with a very faint area of staining.
