ARTIFACT: This is a rare "The 406th Occupier: Historical Issue", a history of the United States Army Air Forces 406th Fighter Group. The 406th was attached to the 9th Air Force, flying P-37 Thunderbolts. This slim volume chronicles the 406th's activities from the Rhine to the Battle of the Bulge to Normandy with several articles and photographs. This was published in Nordholz, Germany just after the war on September 28, 1945.

VINTAGE: Published (September 28, 1945) early post-WWII.

SIZE: 24 pages, approximately 11-3/4" in height and 8-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: Volume 1 Nordholz, Germany, September 28, 1945 Number 13.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The book has some areas of fading/creasing to the cover; yellowing inside, but no rips, marks or stains.
