ARTIFACT:
This is a rare unit history of the United States Army Air Forces 352nd Fighter Group ("352nd Fighter Group… Second to None"). Constituted in 1942, the 352nd amassed a great volume of decorations and produced a high percentage of aces. The group flew Thunderbolts and Mustangs on several missions, most notably a win against the Luftwaffe in Belgium on January 1, 1945. Each of the three fighter squadrons belonging to the 352nd (the 328th, 486th and 487th, along with the 444th Air Squadron Group) has a page in the book with great graphics. The back cover is a dedication to the men of the 352nd who were either killed or lost during the war. The booklet was printed in Europe during the Occupation period.

Published circa World War II Occupation Period.

21 pages with a black and white photographs and illustrations (a few 2-color illustrations); approximately 8-1/2"e; in height and 11-1/4" in width.

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The book has some very small spots of minor discoloration to the back cover and some slight staple rusting; otherwise it is in excellent condition.
