ARTIFACT: Lovely WWI trench art letter opener dated 1914 – 1918. The opener features an ornately embellished blade with a leaf motif and the handle is fashioned from a bullet casing and reads: "FRENCH AMERICAN FRATERNITY 1914 – 1918".

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 8-1/4" (full length) x 1-1/4" (widest part of blade); 2" bottom diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass
