ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful 1890's New York State Licensed Detective Badge, number 411. This is a well detailed gold plated brass badge with copper numbers. The catch is in working condition and the patina is beautiful.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890's.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold Plated Brass, Copper Numbers.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: "DETECTIVE. 411. LICENSED BY STATE N.Y."
