ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Made USS Searaven SS-196 ashtray. The USS Searaven was a high-scoring submarine, surviving 13 war patrols along with other duties of the vessel. The tray has indentations to hold 4 cigarettes at a time.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 5-3/8" in diameter 1/2" height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel
