SUBJECT: This is a beautiful Japanese made Jacket patch for the USS SABALO, SS302. Patch apparently produced during the Sabalo's first West Pac cruise in 1953. VINTAGE: 1953. SIZE: 5" in diameter. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Silk, fully embroidered. MARKINGS: None. ATTACHMENT: Patch to be sewn on. ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of Aviation squadron, group, wing, etc. patches that we will be putting over the next few months. CONDITION: Very fine.
